Tesla delivered 241,300 electric vehicles during the third quarter of 2021, the company said Saturday. Analysts predicted that Tesla would deliver around 220,900 electric cars during this period, according to estimates compiled by StreetAccount as of September 30. The company produced 237,823 cars in the period ending September 30, 2021, Tesla said in its report. Contemporary Amperex Technology Co Ltd. has agreed to acquire Millennial Lithium Corp. in an all-stock cash deal valued at around C$377 million ($297 million) as the the world’s largest maker of electric-vehicle batteries continues to pursue a strong supply of a key battery-making mineral. Ningde, Fujian-based CATL will pay C$3.85 per common share of Millennial, payable in cash, according to a statement Tuesday.
