I have a lot of academic background, and it shows in how I express myself.I tend to write in the dialect known as "Standard Literary English", which has a very large vocabulary and tends to complex grammatical constructions.I do not, though, wish to be read only by academics!
What do you think, dear friends: should I make aneffort to simplify my vocabulary and grammar?"
